Director's Notes
From the studio.
Which package is right for me?
Signature is the half day. Four to five looks across the full range from natural to glamour. The session that lands on billboards, in PR, on covers. Built for actors with active representation and broad submission needs.
Essential is the workhorse. Two to three hours with hair and makeup, multiple looks, the coverage agents and managers can pitch from. The right fit for first-time work with us, or a focused update.
Refresh is for actors I've worked with before, or actors who genuinely come prepared. Great hair, great wardrobe instincts, a clear look they want captured. One hour, one look, you walk away with images that hold up.

What is your studio like?
A stage built for actors. Natural light, custom backgrounds, designed around how a session actually flows. Wardrobe, hair, makeup, and shooting all in one place. No rushing between rooms, no waiting on equipment.
The studio reacts to your preparation. If an actor has a place to work and be creative, the different vibes, the energies from high to low, are much easier to land at a higher rate. That's how I designed it. That's how I chose my backgrounds. That's how I pick the time of day I shoot.

What does “color corrected, skin polished” actually mean?
Every image you receive is finished by my process. Color correction, skin polishing, contrast, tone. I take it to finish state. Submit-ready, use-ready.
Additional retouching or glamour work — billboards, magazine covers, high-gloss pieces — that's when I let the retoucher do the work. I'll connect you with our list. Two layers, two roles.

What happens before the shoot?
The consultation. Wardrobe, hair, makeup, mood boards, process — all decided in the consultation. The studio reacts to your preparation. If you prepare correctly, you get a higher number of images. The shoot is the easy part.
What if I'm not good at my own hair and makeup?
Don't book Refresh. Book Essential or Signature. Style is a gift to some actors and not to others. There's no shame in either, but the cost of bad makeup is bad photos. Be honest with yourself before you book.
Can my child book one of these packages?
Around age 10, I start charging adult prices. Before that, kids pricing applies. For young actors and emerging careers, Refresh is often the right fit. Quick, efficient, captures the moment.
The point isn't a major studio campaign. It's giving the team — agents, managers, casting — the tools they need to get the next door open.

Do my images expire?
I have clients still using photos from five to ten years ago. Authentic photos hold up. Refresh when something real changes — hair, beard, weight, coming off a role. Otherwise, the work works.
Do I Need a Consultation Before the Shoot?
It's important to understand that wardrobe, hair, makeup, mood boards, process, all is prepared in the beginning in that consultation. To me, the most important part of a shoot is how you set it up. The studio reacts to that preparation. If you prepare correctly, you get a higher number of images. It's really basic.
